What It Is
TB-500 is a synthetic version of Thymosin Beta-4, a naturally occurring peptide found in high concentrations in blood platelets and wound fluid. It plays a central role in tissue repair, cell migration, and inflammation regulation throughout the body.
What It Does
TB-500 accelerates healing of muscles, tendons, ligaments, skin, and heart tissue. It reduces inflammation, promotes new blood vessel formation, improves flexibility in connective tissue, and has shown cardiac protective effects in animal studies. It is particularly effective for chronic injuries that have not responded to other treatments.
How It Works
TB-500 binds to actin, a protein involved in cell structure and movement. This promotes cell migration to injury sites, accelerates tissue regeneration, and reduces the inflammatory response. It also upregulates growth factors that support blood vessel formation and tissue remodeling.
Who Benefits Most
Athletes with chronic or recurring injuries. People recovering from surgery or acute trauma. Anyone with tendon, ligament, or muscle injuries that have been slow to heal. Also used in longevity protocols for its systemic anti inflammatory and tissue maintenance effects.
Protocol and Dosing
Loading phase: 2 to 2.5 mg twice weekly for 4 to 6 weeks. Maintenance: 2 to 2.5 mg once weekly. Administered subcutaneously. Often stacked with BPC-157 for comprehensive repair.
| Vial Format | Total mg | Concentration | 2 mg dose | 2.5 mg dose |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard vial | 5 mg | Reconstitute with 1 mL BAC water = 5 mg/mL | 0.4 mL / 40 units | 0.5 mL / 50 units |
Cautions
Well tolerated in research models. Avoid during pregnancy. Do not use if you have active cancer. May cause mild fatigue or head rush at higher doses.
Pairs Well With
BPC-157 is the classic stack partner. Together they cover both systemic and local repair mechanisms comprehensively. GHK-Cu adds collagen and skin repair. Ipamorelin adds growth hormone support for enhanced recovery.
