What It Is

Epithalon (Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) derived from Epithalamin, a natural extract from the pineal gland. It was developed by Russian scientist Vladimir Khavinson and has been studied for over 35 years for its effects on aging, telomere length, and longevity.

What It Does

Epithalon activates telomerase, the enzyme that lengthens telomeres (the protective caps on chromosomes that shorten with each cell division). It also normalizes circadian rhythm, improves sleep quality, restores melatonin production, reduces oxidative stress, and has shown anti-cancer effects in animal studies.

How It Works

Epithalon activates the telomerase gene (hTERT), which extends telomere length and slows cellular aging. It also regulates the hypothalamic-pituitary axis, normalizing hormone production and circadian rhythm. The combination of telomere extension and hormonal normalization produces broad anti aging effects.
